We will be performing upgrades to hosts vps1, vps2, vps3, and
vps4 Friday morning between midnight and 4:00AM.
To minimise disruption to customers, prior to beginning each
host's upgrade all customers will be moved to another host.
The expected unavailability for an individual customer's
VPS is a maximum of five minutes.
Our upgrade schedule is:
- Shut down all guests on vps4 - internal Mammoth services
only
- Shutdown vps4, perform upgrade, restart vps4 and verify upgrade
was successful.
- Move customer VPS one at a time from vps3 to vps4.
- Shutdown vps3, perform upgrade, restart vps3 and verify upgrade
was successful.
- Move customer VPS one at a time from vps2 to vps3.
- Shutdown vps2, perform upgrade, restart vps2 and verify upgrade
was successful.
- Move customer VPS one at a time from vps1 to vps2.
- Shutdown vps1, perform upgrade, restart vps1 and verify upgrade
was successful.
- Move internal Mammoth services that were previously running on
vps4, to vps1.
During this upgrade period, access to the Mammoth VPS website
and mPanel may be interrupted.
